As a taxi driver, I often need a caffeine kick on the go. I drive mostly at night, when relatively few coffee houses or fast food drive-throughs are open. Now, getting that quick cup of coffee on the move has been taken to new, great heights with the inception of in-car coffee makers. In early 2012, a Danish innovator introduced the first-ever espresso machine for in-car use.

This portable coffee maker, smartly named the Handpresso Auto Mobile, first went on sale in France for about $150 last year. Since then, the coffee machine has been a huge hit worldwide, particularly in Europe. To operate, drivers simply fill the pod with water and plug the espresso maker into their auto’s cigarette lighter. In about two minutes, you can have an instant caffeine fix in the comfort of your own car.
Despite this ease of operation, this coffee device is more sophisticated than you might imagine. Water pumps through the machine at 16 bars of pressure, which are seven bars more than the pressure required. For me, this gadget has proved invaluable since I endure long trips in my car without breaks or a Starbucks in sight. Of course, for safety purposes, I need to pull over to operate the in-car espresso maker, especially when pouring the coffee. When I need to stay alert on the road and nothing is open, I turn to my Handpresso.
My hat goes off to Henrik Neilson, a self-proclaimed coffee addict just like me, who designed this quirky concept. Sadly, the inventor recently passed, but not in vein—his gadget has made a huge splash and is an economical game-changer for taxi drivers, truck drivers, and even commuters on the go.
Without doubt, I travel a lot. Often, it is hard to come across a decent cup of coffee, even if I am lucky enough to find an open establishment. With the in-car espresso maker, I can enjoy coffee just the way I like it.
The Toyota Tacoma, a pickup truck manufactured by the Toyota brand, has been in production since 1995. To date, the auto has received numerous facelifts and major improvements to enhance both comfort and performance. Initially, the Tacoma served as a replacement for the Toyota Hilux. Nonetheless, its comfort, handling, and ride quality make the Tacoma an even more popular pick.

Late-model Tacoma pickups boast an enhanced structural and safety ability. The Tacoma has reliable anti-lock brakes and a good brake assist system. For safety purposes, there are optional side airbags as well as side curtain airbags. An advanced rollover sensor aids such features, making the truck safer. The frictional control of the Tacoma has been re-engineered and contributes significantly to the stability of the vehicle.
The Toyota Tacoma has unique design cues like strong body panels that serve as one of the auto’s most recognizable and distinguishing features. The strong panels, manufactured with tough and quality materials, largely resist dents.
Presently, the Toyota Tacoma is more powerful and bigger than its predecessors. The auto comes in different trim levels to meet the needs of any driver or truck enthusiast. Currently, drivers can choose from access, regular, and crew cab versions. Consumer can also opt for a five-speed automatic, five-speed manual, or six-speed manual transmission, depending on one’s performance needs. Without a doubt, the Toyota Tacoma mates performance with attractiveness, making it one of the best-selling pickup trucks today.
Over the years, vehicles have been revolutionized in terms of their make, model, and automation characteristics. Most new autos feature state of the art technology and gadget innovations. Therefore, innovative car technology develops and installs new features in either new car models or salvaged vehicles.
Different car brands feature different technological innovations. For example, some Ford models have an inflatable seatbelt feature. This seatbelt safety feature only inflates if an accident occurs. Amazingly, the automated seatbelt does not inflate during normal car operation. To date, this feature is only available in the US.
The latest innovative seatbelt technology in Ford models helps reduce injuries that might occur in an accident. The neck, head, and chest are protected by the airbag seatbelt during an accident, and the chances of sustaining serious injuries reduce greatly thanks to this feature.
Aside from the airbag seat belt technology offered by Ford, the Eco Petal serves as another recent innovative technology developed by automakers. In Nissan models, the Eco Petal feature reduces emissions from the vehicle. The reduced emission percentage depends on the way the car is driven; this innovative technology can minimize such emissions by up to 15 percent.
In addition to the above mentioned innovations, Start/Stop technology is also designed to minimize fuel consumption and reduce emissions. This ecofriendly technology aims to reduce environmental pollution. Start/ Stop technological innovations are also economical.
